Over the years, I have observed the positive impact of the Tree of Hope Campaign. Examples include the purchase of equipment for the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre, construction and renovations at the Mgr. Henri-Cormier Lodge, and investment in cancer research. These projects benefit people all over New Brunswick. DenisLarocque Transparent 1

The beauty of the Tree of Hope Campaign is that funds raised stay here in New Brunswick to benefit patients across the province.

The phrase that comes to mind when I think of this campaign is “helping each other”. Until recently, I only had been familiar with the Tree of Hope Campaign as an outsider. But I can tell you that, since I became involved as co-chair, I have a deeper appreciation of why this campaign has been so successful since its creation in 1989. I am extremely proud to be part of it!

Helping each other is a strong common value we hold as New Brunswickers. Whenever there is a fundraiser, people are very generous, especially when the cause hits close to home. The same applies to businesses.

Entrepreneurs are often very involved in and give back to their communities. As co-chair and as a business leader, I decided to challenge myself to meet with these community leaders to speak to them about the Tree of Hope Campaign and show them how much can be accomplished with funds raised by the campaign.

Thanks to the continued support of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors, the campaign has raised more than $24 million since its inception! That is a significant amount, and we have a lot to be proud of.

On behalf of all those who benefit from investments made by the Tree of Hope campaign, thank you sincerely for your support. You are making an enormous difference in the quality of care provided to cancer patients right here in New Brunswick.
