Official Launch of the Tree of Hope: Schools in New Brunswick are Ready for the Challenge
Moncton, Wednesday, October 16th-- The 2019 edition of the Tree of Hope campaign was launched this morning with great fanfare in eight Francophone schools across the province. Students, school staff and campaign representatives were in attendance.
"We had some technical problems But, spirits were high and there was a lot of energy," explains Martin Latulippe. He is a co-chair and the spokesperson for the launch. He also chaired the campaign from 2008 to 2012.
The slogan of the campaign is Ready for the Challenge! Schools taking part in the morning launch shared their financial goals and the challenges they are taking. Let's just say that there is a risk of seeing brightly coloured hair and shaved mustaches on November 29.
The 2019 Edition of the Tree of Hope Campaign: Ready for the Challenge!
The 2019 edition of the Tree of Hope will be different from all previous campaigns. Nine people have agreed to be co-chairs this year. Nine people who have lent their names, their faces and their energy to this cause over the past 30 years. Nine people who say they are happy to be back at the helm. Every year, the Tree of Hope generates great passion all over the province.
Ready for the challenge! The co-chairs are excited to get involved and help ensure that the campaign is a resounding success. As a very first challenge, they have set a financial goal of $2 million. This is the highest goal ever set for the Tree of Hope, an activity that has touched the lives of thousands of New Brunswickers over the years.
Another successful year for the Tree of Hope Campaign
Moncton, November 30, 2018 – New Brunswickers have once again demonstrated their unfailing generosity. The Tree of Hope campaign has raised a grand total of $1 801 936. This amount was proudly displayed on the large screen at the Radio-Canada Tree of Hope Radiothon, the highlight of the annual campaign.
