In two days we’ll be at the Tree of Hope Radiothon. Are we ready for the challenge?

Moncton, Wednesday November 27, 2019 – In two days, we’ll be right in the middle of the 2019 Tree of Hope Radiothon, the highlight of the annual fundraising campaign. Two million dollars is also the goal set by the campaign co-chairs this year. Two million dollars to reach a cumulative amount of 30 million dollars in the more than 30 years since the campaign began.
Since the beginning, gifts to the Tree of Hope campaign have been invested directly in the improvement of care offered to patients suffering from cancer. Whether it be the purchase of equipment, comfortable chairs for patients, the Mgr-Henri-Cormier Lodge, the configuration of chemotherapy rooms in hospitals of the Vitalité Health Network, and funding local research, this campaign touches patients directly.
Shears for Hope Challenge
This year, dozens of people have agreed to have their head shaved or to undergo a significant haircut to raise money for the Tree of Hope Campaign. It's more than a challenge; it’s an act of solidarity towards cancer patients, who are going through one of the most difficult periods of their lives, including the loss or cutting of their hair for treatments purposes.
