The big day is almost here! The Tree of Hope Campaign raises money to fund cancer research, to improve cancer treatments, and to increase patient comfort. All donations are reinvested right here in New Brunswick. The annual Radiothon is the Campaign’s biggest event, and it’s happening this Friday!

Where do proceeds go?
  • The Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre, which receives over 60,000 patient visits each year;
  • Satellite units in Edmundston, Campbellton, Bathurst and Caraquet;
  • The Mgr. Henri-Cormier Lodge, where over 1,800 patients stay for free each year;
  • Cancer research.

Friends of HealthCare Foundation and Tree of Hope Campaign join forces

Campbellton, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 – The Tree of Hope Campaign and the Friends of HealthCare Foundation proudly announced a total investment of $175,000 in five projects to improve oncology care at the Campbellton Regional Hospital.

Through this collaborative effort, the Tree of Hope Campaign and the Friends of HealthCare Foundation will purchase the following equipment:
  • A cryostat, which will be used to diagnose and monitor cancer;
  • Two radiography monitors, which will be used to diagnose breast cancer;
  • Six specialized treatment chairs, which will be more comfortable for patients and more ergonomic for the medical staff;
  • Two vital sign monitors for oncology patients;
  • A refrigerator, which will be used to keep cancer medications at a constant temperature.

There’s only one week left before Radio-Canada/CBC’s Tree of Hope Radiothon, the high point of this annual fundraising campaign.
Since it started in 1989, the Tree of Hope Campaign has raised over $24 million. Donations have been invested directly in improved care for New Brunswick cancer patients. 

You are invited to take part in Radio-Canada’s Tree of Hope Radiothon. It will air live from CCNB-Dieppe on Friday, November 24, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The programming was unveiled on Thursday, November 2nd as part of the traditional lighting of the Tree of Hope at the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre.

Moncton, Friday, October 27, 2017 – The Tree of Hope Campaign has revealed details about two of its initiatives for the 2017 edition of the campaign. The announcement took place at the Dr. Léon-Richard Oncology Centre in Moncton.

Edmundston, Friday, October 20, 2017 – It was with great pride that the Tree of Hope Campaign and the Edmundston Regional Hospital Foundation announced a total investment of $150,000 in two projects improving cancer care in Edmundston.

September 20, 2017 – The Tree of Hope Campaign is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Joannie Benoit and Mr. Denis Larocque as Co-Chairs of the 2017 Campaign.

Singer and musician Joannie Benoit has already been involved in the Tree of Hope as a Treekeeper. Over the years, she has participated in many of the Campaign’s activities.
