“This is an important time for the Friends of HealthCare Foundation and for the cancer patients receiving treatment here. Today, we are taking a major step forward in our efforts to continue offering high quality care right here in Campbellton. The pieces of equipment that we will be able to purchase thanks to the public’s donations will have a very positive impact on the care being provided. Furthermore, we are demonstrating that by joining forces, we can do great things. We have every reason to be proud!”

“Patients are the big winners in this amazing collaboration involving the Tree of Hope Campaign and the Friends of HealthCare Foundation,” explained Rachel Maltais, Vice-Chair (Campbellton area) of the Provincial Campaign Cabinet for the Tree of Hope Campaign. “I think that we have once again demonstrated that we are stronger together! By giving to the Tree of Hope Campaign and the Friends of HealthCare Foundation, local people will know that they are helping to improve the care delivered here in Campbellton, which I think is very positive.”

For Dr. Martin Robichaud, chief radiologist at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, these projects will significantly enhance the quality of oncology care.

“I’m very pleased to take part in the announcement of this partnership, which will be of enormous benefit to our region’s patients. Purchasing this new equipment will positively impact the quality of care for patients with cancer. I encourage people to support these organizations so that we can maintain and improve the care available in our region.”

Claude Paré is the Provincial Vice-Chair of the Tree of Hope Cabinet.

“Making this type of announcement is always a pleasure! It’s clear in my mind that by joining forces, we can do more to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. We are thrilled to have the chance to forge partnerships with organizations such as the Friends of HealthCare Foundation—to the benefit of the region’s patients!”
